Masset is centered at the North of the Queen Charlotte Islands and the ocean scenery is absolutely breathtaking. As we clear Masset Inlet we see ahead of us Alaska’s Princess Louise Island 45 miles to the north, to the West Langara Island and to the East Rosespit. A gorgeous panoramic view and fabulous fishing. With visits from Humpback, and Grey Whales and the majestic Orcas, Porpoises, Sea Lions, Seals and countless Sea Birds it’s like “Sea World in the Wild”. From Masset to the fishing grounds is 15 – 45 minutes. As we are in close proximity of the fishing more time is spent fishing and less time traveling. We fish from Strigh Island to Cape Edenshaw to the West and Tow Hill to the East. All areas produce salmon mainly Chinook and Coho as well as Halibut, Ling Cod and Rock Fish depending on the depth of water and the fishing method. The choice is yours, pick the fish and we will find it. |

| Sea West and Sea West II are Discovery 727’s The boats are very comfortable, featuring a large fishing deck and a fully enclosed heated cabin with private toilet. Both boats meet Transport Canada TP-1332 Safety Standards and carry all the required safety equipment. Both Captains are fully qualified to operate their vessels. Equipped with twin 150 Hp Yamaha motors and a 9.9 Hp Auxiliary for trolling * twin steering positions * radar * VHF Radio * GPS/Chart Plotter * Sounder * Electric Downriggers are boats are the finest equipped in Masset Harbour. |

For Salmon we run the famous “Islander Reels”, Berkley and Fenwick Rods, for Halibut Penn Reels, Shakespeare Rods and Tuff Line. All of our Salmon and Halibut rigs are hand tied by the Captains for the best quality possible. |

| Your catch is stored in an iced cooler to keep it as fresh as possible, we will clean your fish for you to take or prep your fish for SEAPAC, our local processing plant, specializing in smoking, packaging and shipment of sport caught fish. We can arrange airport pickups at Masset airport and transportation from your accommodations to our boats. | |||||||||||||||||||

| If sea conditions are considered to be unsafe by the captain, the vessel will not leave port and the cost of the charter will be refunded. We will take you to one of the local beaches to catch crab or do some sightseeing to make up for the fishing day. Please view our website for more details |

On the boat your fish is stored in an iced cooler to ensure it is kept as fresh as possible.
We clean your fish and will prepare them for your transportation or processing at Seapak QCI, our local packing plant. We recommend "Seapak", located in Masset, minutes away from the wharf. They specialize in processing the sports fishers catch. They will custom cut your fish to the style and portions you prefer. Seapak has an excellent smoking service and can provide you with a hot or cold smoke, candy smoke or lox. They Vacuum Pack then Blast Freeze your catch after processing to ensure it will arrive in good condition. The fish will be delivered by a courier service such as FedEx to anywhere in North America. The majority of my customers use this service and have been more than satisfied. |
