Types of Fish
Where we fish Depends on the season, the type of fish you seek (Coho, Chinook, Spring, or Chum Salmon, Steelhead, Halibut or Trout) the weather and other related factors. But which ever waters, rivers and inlets we choose you will be rewarded with a unique and memorable fishing experience.
Packages and Rates


STANDARD FISHING
This 4 day, 3 night package includes fully guided sport fishing from covered, heated cruiser boats, fishing licences and tackle, all meals and snacks, accommodation , non-alcoholic beverages, airport limousine service from the Port Hardy Airport, as well as, all the special attention we can give to ensure a great stay. Guests are welcome to bring their own fish boxes or purchase them direct from us. Fish processing services are available upon request.

DELUXE FISHING PACKAGE
This 4 day, 3 night package includes fully guided sport fishing from covered, heated cruiser boats, fishing licences and tackle, all meals and snacks, accommodation , non-alcoholic beverages, airport limousine service from the Port Hardy Airport and unlimited fish processing including the supply of fish boxes as well as, all the special attention we can give to ensure a great stay.

About Us

Quatsino Lodge and First Light Charters offers Professionally Guided
Sport Fishing and Sea Kayaking Tours from our small personal, family run, land-based fishing lodge located in Quatsino Sound, Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Our newly renovated lodge will accomodate groups from 2 to 12. During your visit, we take you into our "family" and do everything that we can to provide you with a comfortable, friendly adventure laced with incredible fishing and, or kayaking, superb wildlife viewing and fantastic food and hospitality.

What makes us different from everybody else? Many things including quality, comfort and a friendly welcoming environment, and awesome fishing or kayaking. Our equipment is always top-of-the-line: rods, reels, downriggers, tackle, etc are all the best on the market because we believe that our clients deserve the best. Our boats are covered, heated cruiser boats not the open whalers used by many lodges. And when it comes to experience and skill - First Light offers you close to 30 years of BC sport fishing know-how. If this is what you are looking for you've come to the right place.
 
Accommodations
Quatsino Lodge is a small personal privately owned, land-based sport fishing and kayaking lodge located in the Village of Quatsino in Quatsino Sound, on the North of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Our facilities allow for accommodating groups from 2 to 12 in our comfortable newly renovated wheel chair accessible lodge that is a scenic 20 minute boat ride from Coal Harbour.

During your stay with us we will take you into our "family" and do all that we can to provide you with a friendly, comfortable environment and a memorable stay that is laced with adventure, incredible fishing, superb wildlife viewing and fantastic food.

Situated on our 6 acre waterfront property the lodge features:

• 9 double rooms with king size or twin beds
• 1 single or small double room with wheel chair access
• 7 bathrooms
• Family suite with 2 double rooms, bathroom and sitting    room
• Cosy sitting room with wood stove
• Picturesque dining room, from where you can watch the   wildlife & boats
• Sundeck, Games & TV room, satelite TV & wireless internet
• Private wharf
• Vacuum sealing with facilities to store & freeze your catch
• Styrofoam fish boxes available on site
• Friendly team on hand to ensure your stay is comfortable   and fun
