St.John's, our capital is about 4 1/2 hours flying time west of London and can be reached by a direct flight 4-5 times per week.
Flying from the USA, you can reach us through any major city. Most flights will route through one of the following: Toronto, Montreal, Newark or Boston to either Halifax or St. John's. Gander is located approx. 110 air miles NW of St. John's, the driving distance between them is double that (220 miles). | Summer Fishing Our regular season runs from late June until the first week of September. The prime fishing season is from early July to late August. Fall Fishing In the cooler weather of mid-September to mid-October the fall run of salmon make their bid for headwaters of Gander River. These fish are very feisty and rise well. About Us |

| Our company offers a quality fishing experience from our licensed camp on the lower Gander River. Angling has been very good and stock counts have shown that our salmon population has increased to annual runs averaging 25,000 fish since 1992. The outlook for the next season is excellent and we have had a multi- year salmon plan announced which will allow us a bag limit of up to 4 fish. This has made the Gander River an attractive fishing destination for anglers from across North America and as far away as Australia and South Africa. We are listed in the latest Sports Afield "North America's Greatest Fishing Lodges" on page 277 and have also just been listed in the Fly Fishing, and the Freshwater Angling editions of "Picked-by-You Guides". These listings were earned through client surveys and cannot be purchased. We are also very pleased to be included in the new book "Canada's Classic Fishing Lodges" by Boston Mills Press. We are one of just 17 lodges in Canada to be so honored. The camp has a capacity of 12 rods for fishing and is reached by riverboat from Gander Bay. We provide ground transportation to and from the Gander Airport for clients who arrive by air and for those clients who chose to drive, we will provide detailed instructions on where to meet us. |

| We have been in the outfitting business since 1984 and have always strived for superior service and customer satisfaction. In the area of guarantees and warranties, we have always attempted to understate rather than promise the impossible and fail to deliver. No one should ever promise a catch where wild fish are involved or promise that it won't rain and we advise you to be very cautious of anyone who does. What we do promise is to provide you with the opportunity to fish over more fish than you have probably seen in a very long time and to provide you with a rain suit that doesn't leak while you are doing it!

| We have guest rooms with private bathrooms and showers, electricity and refrigeration. Our uniformed guides are all well trained and highly motivated and our chef will delight you with a variety of excellent meals prepared for you enjoyment. We specialize in incentive travel for business, and are able to arrange fishing trips for one day to one week or longer, according to your schedule. Equipment can be supplied for those clients who wish to take advantage of this service. |
