Come to Shooting Star Camp by Train. In accordance with our "wilderness" location, our area is inaccessible to automobiles. However our guest enjoys the convenience and comfort provided by Via Rails Lake Superior Train service. Your trip begins the moment you board the train and leave your automobile and worries behind (temporarily at least).Whether you’re a first time rider, train buff or have children the carefree, relaxed atmosphere, combined with beautiful back country scenery, results in this being a mini trip and an enjoyable experience in itself.  |

Our lakes many of which have less fisherman per season than some lakes in a weekend continue to provide our guests with memorable thrills as well as mouth watering fish dinners. Depending on the type of adventure you desire, you will have the choice of one of our many Spanish River camps or outpost lake locations. Either way, beautiful scenery, excellent fishing and outdoor adventure are at your doorstep. Our cabins are comfortable, well maintained, and fully equipped to meet your needs and provide you a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchens are very well equipped with a wide assortment of cookware, utensils, and cutlery to assist the chef of your group. Each cabin is equipped with a dependable full size propane fridge and stove. Guests will enjoy relaxing in our comfortable deck and lawn furnishings. For those who enjoy outdoor cooking, all camps have briquette barbecues and outdoor fire pits with grates. The end of another great day will be rewarded with a great night’s rest. Our individual queen size beds with comfy mattresses, combined with quiet nights will provide you with a sound evening’s rest. | |
