Types of Fish

Lake Kipawa offers excellent fishing for walleye (pickerel), northern pike and lake trout. For newcomers we offer a map of the fishing spots and advice on the most effective methods to use.

We have twenty-four 16' fiberglass boats complete with reliable 15 h.p. motors. You must supply our own lifey jackets.

A deposit of $100.00 per person is required within one week of placing your reservation.
One week includes Saturday to Saturday 9 a.m.

About Us

Upon your arrival at Chalets Scarf you will be transported by boat 1 mile across majestic Lake Kipawa to our main camp - Chalets du Huard.

There are 9 deluxe cottages sufficiently spaced along the shoreline to ensure your privacy. Each has its own dock, outside fireplace and picnic table. All cottages are totally equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans. We supply the bedding but you must supply your own personal towels. There are separate bedrooms, indoor facilities, showers and running water. Every cottage has a living room facing the lake, carpeted floors, oil or wood heating and 24 hour electricity. Cottages can accommodate from 3 to 10 persons.

Our service and comfort make this a dreamland for both fishermen and holiday makers alike.

Accommodations

Safely accessible by car Chalets Scarf is located 13km (8 miles) via gravel road from Highway 101.

There are two cottages equipped with gas stove and refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans. Each is heated by a woodstove and has an indoor washroom, shower and running water.

The cottages are nestled among magnificent trees and the calmness of the bay and sandy shoreline make Chalets Scarf the ideal vacation getaway.
